Athena is such a sweet, gentle, and playful 4-5 month old puppy. While a bit shy at first in her new surroundings, she quickly warms up when she settles in. She knows her sit and is working on down and other commands. She is potty-trained, sleeps through the night, and loves her crate. Athena loves to play with the big dogs and even has won the heart of the grouchy resident dog. Athena was left at Westside by a “breeder” along with her 5 siblings after they could no longer care for them. She is such a happy and healthy girl who is learning about her new world.

Some of Athena’s favorite things:

1. Steal shoes, any kind, to get her foster parents ‘attention: no harm done though, she is careful!
2. Play tug of war or wrestle with her big foster sibling dogs
3. Have zoomies in the back yard

Her least favorite things:

1. Anything new and out of place (like a bag of potting soil): well, it is just scary!
2. Being left alone in the house: she wants to stay close to her furry and non-furry family, and wants to know where everyone is at all times
